TerraByte (2024) explores the hidden infrastructure that supports our internet, data, and cloud use. Every day we search for terms on the internet, brows through thousands of websites, send emails, upload files to our personal drives, and know that the photos and images we shared with people or have taken with our phones will be safely placed and accessed through a network of data centers that form the cloud. Names describing the digital networks have adopted and misused natural and agricultural terminology, hiding their impact behind ideas of clouds, streams, mining, and farming.
